Further Tank discussion...

I myself have been perusing the Protection-spec Warriors guide posted by Seanoia and will dredge out some juicy tidbits from the massive amount of text that I feel it would be good to highlight for those who don't wanna have to read that much about a class they don't play (Warrior), and would be beneficial to make everyone aware of.

- Wow... so that's the bare-bones breakdown on the 'chance' of what happens when a boss hits you. Once you get past the Critical hit percentage... the Crushing Blows are the only other serious problem by the looks of those percentages. (not including spell attacks etc)

You need to achieve 490 defense.
That is 140 extra defense (this may include the anticipation talent), or 336 defense rating at level 70 over your natural base of 350 defense. You may mix defense and resilience to achieve the same goal. Bear in mind that 39.4 resilience rating is equal to a 1% crit reduction, and may be substituted for 60 defense rating, or 25 defense. However, because defense also contributes in other areas detailed above, defense will always be superior point-for-point in item budget over resilience in a PvE situation.
Bear in mind that decimals on the character sheet are rounded up. So if you have 489.1 defense it will be reported as 490 defense. Make absolutely certain that you are crit immune by having either 336 defense rating, or having 491 or greater defense.

- now that's VERY interesting. For some reason, I was under the 'impression' that 'resilience' from pvp items did absolutely NOTHING for raid-tanking pve warriors. Well, now I actually have the numbers on that. 39.4 Resilience = 25 Defence points. Another worthy mention is that a Warrior needs 491 defence rating rather than 490 to be positively un-critable.
